ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a travel nursing position ideal for clinicians ready to work in a dynamic, fast-paced acute care environment.

• Shift: 12.5-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three days per week
• Schedule: 36 hours per week guaranteed with every other weekend rotation required
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: May 10, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,342.34

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in the emergency department, managing patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions. You will also support inpatient hold nursing responsibilities, maintaining patient safety and comfort during transitions in care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver nursing care for emergency department patients and inpatient holds
• Manage patient ratios based on acuity levels to ensure safe, effective care delivery
• Handle inpatient hold RN assignments and acuity management
• Work collaboratively within the ED team in a high-volume, unpredictable environment
• Respond to emergency situations with clinical judgment and composure

We seek an RN with a strong ability to function in the emergency department setting. Preferred qualifications include experience managing ED patients and comfort with the demands of emergency nursing practice.
