Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Float required to 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1
• Care for adult patients with a small number of pediatric patients (1-5 per year)
• Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer
• Medical surgical unit with telemetry monitoring across units 7 West, 7 East, and 5 East
• 60-bed unit serving a diverse patient population including African American and Korean-speaking communities
• Charting system: Epic
• IV pumps: Alaris
• Scrubs: Navy
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting, Trauma Level 2
