Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekend schedule required
• 13-week travel assignment
• RRT preferred, will consider CRT certification
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 3+ years critical care experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Must be willing to float between campuses as needed
• Provide cardiopulmonary services following protocols approved by medical staff
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and provide ventilator management
• Perform insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac/pulmonary stress tests
• Perform blood gas analysis
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients
