ED RN Job in Meridian, ID

St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,232.

Shift Details

• Work 3x12-hour rotating shifts with variable start times: 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, 10:00 AM–10:30 PM, 11:30 AM–12:00 AM, 1:30 PM–2:00 AM, 3:30 PM–4:00 AM, and 7:30 PM–8:00 AM
• AM shifts paired with AM start times; PM shifts paired with PM start times; late shifts never followed by early shifts
• Minimum 4 Saturday/Sundays per 6-week period (2 weekends total)
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Scheduled based on unit need—no block schedule

Role Responsibilities

• Care for approximately 170 patients per day in a 45-bed ED including trauma and resuscitation bays
• Manage pediatric and adult patients presenting with stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ESI level I high-acuity conditions
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Administer and manage critical drips: Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepi, Nitro, Versed, and Precedex
• Read and interpret cardiac monitors using SpaceLabs system
• Chart in EPIC system
• May occasionally float to sister ED locations within the health system

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN
• Minimum 2.5 years ED experience from a larger urban hospital setting
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC
• Trauma experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
