PACU RN Job in Rochester, NY

Join URMC Strong Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), supporting a dynamic cardiac catheterization program. You will work 40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts on a day-evening-night (DEN) rotation schedule with occasional weekend coverage as unit needs require.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in pre-procedure, post-procedure, and PACU recovery settings within our cardiac catheterization laboratory. Your responsibilities include delivering procedural support, monitoring patients in both acute and non-acute situations, and ensuring safe transitions through all phases of care. You will care for patients with vascular disease, electrical conduction disorders, coronary artery disease, and structural heart conditions in a fast-paced, expanding cardiac program.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York RN License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry certification
• Recent experience in CVICU, cardiac care, or PACU

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac catheterization laboratory experience (2 years preferred)
• Comfort working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment

Compensation and Assignment Details
