Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Specialized skills required in vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Must have experience with pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
• Experience required with procedures including: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, TEVAR, Ventricular Assist Device, Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating to other units or affiliate hospitals is required
• Interview availability of 2-3 days required when submitting for position
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
