Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation and every other weekend schedule
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• 2 years medical-surgical experience required in short-term acute care hospital setting
• At least one traveler contract completed preferred
• EPIC charting experience required within the last 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Wisconsin RN license
• Patient ratios: 1:6 during standard hours, 1:7 after 11:00 PM
• Float to other like units and facilities including Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago as needed based on census
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Must demonstrate strong documentation skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Holiday assignments include: July 4th night (7/3), Labor Day night (9/6), Christmas Day night (12/25), New Year's Eve night (12/31)
• Must be hardworking, resilient, and manage change well
