CT Technologist Job in Muncie, IN

You'll work as a CT Technologist at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, with 3x12 hour night shifts on block scheduling.

Role Overview

You'll handle a daily caseload of approximately 160 CT scans in a Level III Trauma Center emergency department. You'll perform imaging across multiple anatomical regions—abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal—and manage specialized protocols including brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction. You'll work with GE CT scanner equipment and use the Cerner charting system.

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT CT certifications
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience in inpatient, emergency department, community hospital, and adult ICU settings
• Proficiency with PACS systems and contrast administration
• Ability to work with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Key Expectations

• 40 hours of orientation required
• 100% floating required within IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital and affiliated facilities nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Night shift availability on a consistent 3x12 schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Outpatient experience, Level I trauma facility background, teaching hospital or children's hospital experience, and skills in IV starts, phlebotomy, and biopsy procedures are valued. Cerner charting system experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome.

Compensation & Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,410.56. The assignment runs 91 days with night shift hours. You'll be part of a busy trauma center providing acute imaging services across a wide patient population.
