X-Ray Technician Job in Hilo, HI

Hilo Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a diagnostic imaging role. This is a travel assignment running 91 days, starting August 10, 2026. You will work a rotating shift schedule with an average of three days of call per month.

About the Role

You will perform diagnostic radiography using a full range of equipment, including DR fixed systems, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR units. You must function independently and demonstrate proficiency with Philips DR systems, Philips and OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro equipment, and Epic EMR. Your work will require strict adherence to radiation safety protocols, and you will be assigned a dosimetry badge for monitoring.

Requirements

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer (required by assignment start)
• Minimum two years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
• Ability to work independently without supervision

Compensation and Schedule

You will receive $2,482 per week. Please note that hours are not guaranteed, and time-off requests cannot be assured.
