ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning March 16, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,971.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 48-hour guarantee available for consideration
• 38-bed emergency department in a Trauma Level III certified facility
• Willing to float to other units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care decisions
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Participate in stroke receiving and STEMI receiving protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Black scrubs per dress code policy
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• NIH certification recommended but not required
