ICU Registered Nurse Job in Roswell, NM

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 16-bed ICU unit in Roswell, NM. This is a travel assignment with a 91-day duration, beginning June 1, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule
• 48-hour weekly guarantee available upon request
• Maximum 1 week RTO allowance
• Blocked scheduling may be requested

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity environment
• Float to Step-Down and Medical Surgical units as needed
• Manage 1:2 patient ratios in ICU; 1:3–4 ratios on Step-Down
• Accept call responsibilities (rarely activated)
• Participate in holiday coverage, including at least one winter holiday

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 2+ years of experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts and every-other-weekend schedule
• Flexibility to float between ICU, Step-Down, and Medical Surgical units

Work Environment

• 16-bed ICU utilizing Cerner EMR system
• Mix of ICU and Step-Down patients with occasional Medical Surgical overflow
• Royal blue scrubs required

Compensation

• $1,782 weekly pay
