Job Details:

• Work in a 36-bed Level 3 NICU unit within the main hospital building
• Unit is staffed with 2 Respiratory Therapists per shift during peak volumes
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Required scrub color: Grey
• Level 3 NICU experience required; candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience will be considered
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Operate equipment including Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide systems, and Vapotherms
• EMR systems used: Meditech and NeoNotes
• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Perform ventilator management with conventional and high frequency oscillatory ventilation
• Administer surfactant and nitric oxide
• Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, critical thinking, ability to work independently, and detail orientation
