Job Details:

• Work in a 36-bed Level 3 NICU unit within the main hospital building
• Day and night shifts available with 2 Respiratory Therapists per shift
• Patient ratio of 2 therapists to cover the 36-bed unit during peak volumes
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Scrub color requirement: Grey for Respiratory Therapy staff
• Day shift parking available in parking garage (3rd floor and up)
• Night shift parking available across the street at Oak Field Medical Plaza or parking garage
• Operate and manage Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide, and Vapotherms equipment
• EMR systems utilized: Meditech and NeoNotes
• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Perform ventilator management with conventional and high frequency oscillatory ventilation
• Administer surfactant and nitric oxide
• Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
• Level 3 NICU experience required; candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience may be considered
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and detail-oriented approach
