Med Surg RN Job in Iron River, MI

Aspirus Iron River is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on our 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit. You will work the night shift on a team caring for geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetes.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• May be placed on low census call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Patient ratios: 1:6 nights
• Float to the emergency department within competency required
• Start date: July 6, 2026

Qualifications Required

• Current Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience with ICU and ER experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong charting experience with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,377.08
• Any colored scrubs permitted
