ED Registered Nurse Job in Burlington, NC

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Occasionally work 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM shifts if needed
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 180 visits per day in a 58-bed emergency department
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass an EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for special populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• 36-hour orientation period
• Subject to float to any facility campus if needed
• Self-scheduling system
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy services
