Respiratory Therapist Job in Cleveland, OH

You will deliver respiratory therapy services at MetroHealth Main Campus in Cleveland, working evenings on a 5x8 schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 26, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,336.

Core Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy services according to provider orders
• Work with Epic and Pyxis systems in a networked environment
• Monitor and maintain patient respiratory status
• Communicate with clinical teams through face-to-face, phone, and email

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential—CRT credentials not accepted
• Ohio RCP license required before start date
• BLS certification from American Heart Association

Physical Requirements

You will sit, stand, stoop, and bend intermittently throughout your shift. You may need to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction) are required, along with finger dexterity to operate office equipment and view computer monitors and departmental documents.

Work Environment

You will be exposed to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals as part of routine respiratory therapy practice. You must communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff across multiple formats.
