<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Minimum 2 years current Intermediate/Step Down experience required<br>• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards<br>• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting<br>• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan<br>• Assess patient readiness to learn and developmental levels affecting ability to learn<br>• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects<br>• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs<br>• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs through education programs<br>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care<br>• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)<br>• Required education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited school of Nursing<br>• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of Nursing<br>• Must be fluent in English (read, write, speak)<br>• Participate in development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare system is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced clinical nursing care and complex patient management services.
