Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 1:4 patient ratio working with adolescents to geriatrics
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (see holiday policy)
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first timers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Work on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients
• Titrate cardiac drips with continuous telemetry monitoring
• Handle PCU level patient assignments
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager or above)
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, and vasoactive drip management
