Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment
• Operate specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure radiation safety for both patients and staff
• Maintain equipment and document all processes
• Collaborate with physicians to diagnose conditions and provide crucial data for patient care and research
• Float between two office locations in Mt. Clemens and Waterford
• 2 years of Nuclear Medical Technician experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Required certifications: NMTCB
• Preferred certifications: BLS (AHA)
