Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Mt. Clemens, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a temporary assignment with McLaren Medical Group in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. This is a full-time position working day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

About the Role

You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging or treatment procedures. Using specialized nuclear medicine equipment, you will create images that show how organs and tissues are functioning. Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical doses according to physician orders and established protocols
• Administer doses to patients via appropriate routes while maintaining strict radiation safety standards
• Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Explain procedures to patients and address their questions
• Maintain equipment in proper working condition and document all patient data and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning

Position Details

This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning June 15, 2026. You will work 5 days per week on an 8-hour day schedule. The position includes floating between two office locations in Mt. Clemens and Waterford to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

You must hold a minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technician experience and have demonstrated experience in cardiology. Current NMTCB certification is required. BLS certification through the American Heart Association is preferred.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,448.
