Occupational Therapist Travel Job in Richmond, VA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position offering $2,044 weekly pay.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends
• Unit: 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Team Structure: You will work alongside 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech

Role Responsibilities

• Perform manual therapy including neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care training, and functional e-stim
• Conduct stroke evaluations and provide treatment
• Operate specialized equipment: Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego systems
• Document all patient care using the Meditech Expanse system
• Float to acute hospital settings when rehab census is low
• Demonstrate AIDET communication principles and immediate service recovery practices

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required
