ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with available shift times of 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• Self/team scheduling available
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Float to MedSurg as needed
• Care for patients with traumas, strokes, STEMIs, chest pain, respiratory diagnoses, and lacerations
• Administer and manage common drips including Heparin and Levophed
• Required to read and interpret telemetry/monitor strips independently
• One 12-hour shift of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Successful candidates should demonstrate teamwork, communication, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
