Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Carlsbad, NM

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab on a day shift schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,508.

Position Details

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, five days per week
• On-call required with a minimum of 15 days of call per assignment
• Floating required, typically as sitters if needed
• Holiday coverage required; no holidays off during assignment

Clinical Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, TEEs, cardioversions, peripherals, and other cardiac procedures
• Administer and prepare medications
• Manage moderate sedation
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Clean and stock the lab

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath lab nursing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EMR systems: Xper, MedHost, and PACS
