Job Details:

• Work 40-hour midshift schedule providing anesthesia technology support
• No direct patient care responsibilities - focus on bringing supplies into rooms and equipment management
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of procedures and anesthesia equipment
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Work in ambulatory OR and operating room settings
• Required to work one weekend shift per month (either Saturday OR Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
• 16 hours of orientation required
• Dress code requires blue scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certification: Cer.A.T
• 2 years of experience required
• Previous travel assignment required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must have knowledge of endotracheal tubes, emergency intubations, intubating LMA, IV insertion, patient positioning, anesthesia machines, breathing circuits, glidescope/video laryngoscope, IV pumps, rapid infuser, and transport equipment
• Assist anesthesia providers in critical situations and maintain operating room safety protocols
• Handle room setup for first cases, room turnover, and time out processes
• Work with all modes of anesthesia: General, MAC, and Regional
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
