PCU RN Job in Cleveland, OH

Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 90-day travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide direct care to surgical oncology and stepdown patients on a specialized 30-bed telemetry unit focused on ENT, colorectal, and urology cases.

About the Role

You will work rotating day and night shifts with flexibility between 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules. Your responsibilities include:

• Caring for post-surgical patients requiring stepdown-level monitoring and intervention
• Managing patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 during night shifts
• Performing continuous telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Managing specialized post-operative needs, including tracheostomy care
• Collaborating with the surgical oncology team to support patient recovery

What You Bring

You have solid experience with post-surgical patient care and a demonstrated ability to manage telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable caring for patients with complex surgical needs and are skilled in tracheostomy management. Your clinical foundation allows you to assess and respond to patient changes while maintaining safe ratios across day and night assignments.

Assignment Details

This is a 90-day contract beginning July 12, 2026. You will receive $2,702.70 per week. Cleveland Medical Center is a well-established facility offering a supportive environment for travel nursing professionals.
