Job Details:

• Work varied schedule in Emergency Department
• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation required
• Based at NCMC with potential to float to BFCMC if needed
• Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, verify telemetry monitoring upon arrival to facility
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
• Current valid RN license in state of practice required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, delegate and supervise healthcare team activities
• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Document all aspects of patient care legibly and timely according to policy
• Participate in professional development activities and mentoring when appropriate
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to emergency department practice
