ICU RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a full-time basis, with an anticipated assignment duration of 91 days beginning May 25, 2026. Weekly compensation is $2,019.60.

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS via AHA, ACLS via AHA, and TNCC certifications
• Experience with EMR-EPIC system
• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing program

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient symptoms and needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within nursing standards timeframes
• Coordinate and implement patient care appropriate to the age and acuity of the patient population served
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures
• Participate in patient health education and discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate unit work assignments and team assignments
• Function as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff
• Participate in orientation of new staff and students
• Maintain positive attendance and communicate absences in advance
• Adhere to all patient and environmental safety policies and procedures

Essential Skills

You will demonstrate current knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served, along with clear communication skills suited to the developmental needs of your patients.
