Respiratory Therapist Job in Key West, FL

Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift assignment beginning June 1, 2026. You will work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with no block scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Current FL RRT or CRT license
• 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• AHCA registration required for Florida placements
• Experience with Medhost charting system preferred
• Comfort working independently with NICU patients; pediatric experience also acceptable

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and provide ventilator management
• Assist with insertion of arterial lines and intubations
• Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Draw and analyze blood gases
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients
• Follow all medical staff protocols and department policies

This position offers competitive compensation at $76/hour, with weekly pay of $1,997.28. You will join a dedicated respiratory care team in the Florida Keys, supporting critical patient care through your expertise and independent clinical judgment.
