Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 54-week travel assignment beginning May 18, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour day shifts per week and weekly pay of $2,446.20.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform detailed patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history and physical examination findings with patients and families within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and delegate and supervise healthcare team members
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation findings in patient medical records
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel and students

Required qualifications:

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the cardiac catheterization specialty area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional certification in cardiac catheterization nursing

You will be expected to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the cardiac cath lab setting and work effectively within a varied work schedule.
