Infusion RN Job in Davis, CA

Sutter Health Davis Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Infusion department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 5, 2026, offering a stable schedule and competitive compensation.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 shifts per week, 9 hours per shift
• Day shifts begin at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM
• Every other full weekend required; weekend shifts run 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,981

Role Requirements

You will manage infusion therapies, including chemotherapy administration, port access and management, central line care, and IV push medications. You will monitor patients for side effects, recognize and communicate abnormal lab values, maintain neutropenic precautions, and follow isolation protocols and PPE requirements. You will also manage and dispose of cytotoxic spills appropriately.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient infusion experience
• BLS certification
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) or ONCC chemotherapy-biotherapy certification (2-year cycle) required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Key Skills

You must demonstrate competency in accessing and managing infusion ports, administering and monitoring chemotherapy, caring for central and implanted lines, handling body fluids post-chemotherapy, recognizing and managing chemotherapy side effects, and implementing neutropenic and isolation precautions.
