Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Primarily care for a mixed Medical-Surgical Telemetry and PCU patient population
• Patient ratios are a minimum of 5-6:1
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Unit capacity includes 32 rooms and 35 beds with a daily census of approximately 30
• Float required as needed within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Weekend coverage required
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; will consider candidates with greater than 1 year of experience
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact nursing license required
• Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, heparin protocols, and wound care
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
