Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 evening/night rotation with shift times of 1300-2330 and 1900-0730
• High acuity PACU RN experience required with ICU experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam achieving at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience required in pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre-post procedures
• CERNER charting system experience required
• Call required: possibly 5-6 calls per six week period during day/evening shifts
• Float required to cover ICU as needed
• Weekend coverage: 2 weekends per 6 weeks
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs will be provided by facility
• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work with various surgical specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, vascular, ENT, endoscopy, colorectal, breast, and neuro/spine procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available from physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Daily census of 45 patients across 12 rooms
