RN - Med Surg Peds Adult Stepdown

Job Details:

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care to pediatric and adult populations
• Utilize the Nursing Process within the framework of Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care
• Follow Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care guidelines
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of employees
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision
• Required certifications must be active prior to contract start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training
• If certifications are not current, must have booked course at time of Clinical Orientation
• Work in medical surgical stepdown unit caring for both pediatric and adult patients
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practices
