CT Technologist Job in Austell, GA

You will perform CT imaging procedures at Cobb Hospital on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 15, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,368.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Remain flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Take call when necessary

Your Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of CT procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging studies
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media according to established protocols
• Review CT images for clinical acceptability
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency with power injection equipment
• Maintain competency with venipuncture
• Adjust technique to provide the lowest possible radiation dose while preserving image quality
• Transport and position patients; assist with movement on and off the procedure table

Required Qualifications

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Competency in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
