Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights
• Call and weekend requirements mandatory
• Call can occur on weekdays and/or weekends
• Weekends include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts
• In 6 weeks may have up to 3 weekend call shifts - Saturday (24 hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) or Sunday (16 hours: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
• May have additional night shifts on Friday nights
• No block scheduling available
• Call response time requirement: 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms available for use
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience in the last 3 years (preferably 3 years)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required (at least 1 year out of the last 3)
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years
• Must be proficient/expert in General surgery
• Strong Orthopedic experience required (total joints mandatory)
• Neurosurgery experience required (Craniotomy & Spine mandatory)
• Vascular surgery experience required
• Trauma surgery experience required
• Robotics experience with DaVinci required (must perform Cardiac procedures: move arms and drape)
• Transplant experience preferred but not mandatory
• Cannot be a previous regular employee
