SCAHC Pharmacist

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Pharmacist - Pharmacist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Variable shift times including nights, days, swing shifts, and weekends<br>• Must be flexible to different days and hours as needed<br>• Process prescriptions in a timely manner for approximately 1000 scripts per day<br>• Provide both outpatient services and inpatient/ER coverage as needed<br>• Counsel patients in a timely manner<br>• Process controlled substances according to policy and law<br>• Maintain current medication knowledge and flexibility to move where needed<br>• Work with ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System with SP200 Robot<br>• Utilize RPMS Electronic Health Record system<br>• Operate Omnicell ADCs and Carousel, Kirby Lester counting machines<br>• No on-call requirements<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site)<br>• Bachelor of Science degree from accredited Pharmacy school or PharmD required<br>• Current and active state unrestricted Pharmacy license required, Arizona preferred<br>• Hospital experience required (inpatient or outpatient)<br>• Recent hospital experience and ER experience required<br>• Two years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred<br>• Must pass background check and drug screen<br>• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs or business professional attire<br>• Closed toe shoes required<br>• 2-hour notice required for call-ins</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Tribal 638 healthcare facility provides comprehensive healthcare services to the San Carlos Apache people.
