ICU RN Job in Salt Lake City, UT

You will work as an RN in the ICU float pool for CSH Mountain Region, covering Zone 2 locations within a 60-mile radius of Salt Lake City. This is a 105-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts during your assignment

Floating Responsibilities

• Float across Zone 2 locations within the designated 60-mile radius
• May be asked to float to another location mid-shift with paid travel time
• Provide care at any acuity level, including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry
• May be required to work in a CNA or sitter capacity if census is low to meet hour requirements
• You are responsible for securing housing that makes floating throughout the full zone feasible

Clinical Details

• Acute care setting
• Charting system: EPIC
• Valid state nursing license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Valid driver's license must be submitted

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,360

This position is ideal for nurses comfortable with flexibility and willing to work across multiple units and locations. You will need reliable transportation and the ability to manage floating assignments throughout the zone while maintaining your night shift schedule.
