Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Weekend requirements include occasional coverage for acute care evaluations (every 5 weeks)
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services
• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
• Develop individualized treatment plans using various techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Provide educational information to patients regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy, and rehabilitation therapy
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatments
• Work with individuals of all ages from newborns to elderly patients
• Develop fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles
• Must have active South Carolina PT license
• Minimum 2 years recent PT experience required, hospital experience preferred
• Must have current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• State licensure required to practice physical therapy
