ICU RN Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 29-bed, non-aggregated Intensive Care Unit at LBH - Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 98-week travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4x12 shifts may be available upon inquiry
• Every other weekend is required
• Every other winter and summer holiday is required with no time off approved on those days
• No time off approved on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day
• Block scheduling is not available
• Weekly pay: $2,301

Clinical Details

The ICU cares for Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patients. The unit specializes in high-risk Neuro and Trauma interventions with an average daily census of approximately 26 patients. You will manage adult and geriatric populations. Standard ICU patient ratio is 1:2; ratio may be 1:3 if an ICU patient is downgraded and awaiting an available bed. You may float to IMC based on facility needs with a potential 1:4 patient ratio, or within appropriate critical-care areas based on scope and competency.

Required Experience & Certifications

• 2 years of Critical Care experience
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience managing multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience
• Special equipment: IABP, CRRT, EVD, and Arctic Sun/Cooling blanket management
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and ATCAR or equivalent trauma education (candidates may complete Sinai's Maryland-approved "Insult to Result" trauma course to meet the trauma education requirement)
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment required and must be submitted by the agency with a passing score before proceeding
• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission
