Respiratory Therapist Job in Wichita, KS

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts each week, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in the Respiratory Therapy Unit.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care treatments and ventilator management for both invasive and noninvasive cases
• Operate specialized equipment including V800 and Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamilton ventilators, and Airvo systems for high-flow nasal cannula therapy
• Document care using the Meditech EMR system
• Provide support in a dynamic, fast-paced critical care environment

Requirements

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential with minimum 6 months of experience
• NBRC Certification
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Strong ICU experience required
• Pediatric or PICU experience preferred
