ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, earning $2,102.40 weekly.

Role Overview

You'll provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical ICU unit located on the 4th floor. Your typical patient ratio is 2:1. You'll work alongside charge nurses, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, coachability, and a positive approach to patient care.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and airway management procedures
• Administer moderate sedation under appropriate supervision
• Operate CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) equipment
• Document and communicate using the Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care ICU hospital experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with Meditech systems
• Background working in large trauma facilities
• Sono IV and CRRT experience
