SLP Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus as a Speech-Language Pathologist on the 5th floor inpatient rehabilitation unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment running day shift, 5 days per week, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekly pay of $2,044. You'll start on June 29, 2026.

About the Role

You will evaluate and treat patients with swallowing and speech-language disorders on a 44-bed unit. Your patient ratio will be 1:8–10 patients, and you'll work alongside one other speech therapist. You'll perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and use specialized equipment including an MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, and Bioness BITs. Documentation will occur through the facility's electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Scheduling

This is a day shift position. You may be asked to assist with rotating weekends, typically one shift per month. You may also float to acute hospital areas as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Virginia license and Current Clinical Competency Certification (CCC)
• Experience with adult population and medical cases

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
