About this role
You will work as a CT Technologist at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, providing diagnostic imaging across multiple clinical settings. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, with a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 PM–7:00 AM depending on rotation). You will earn $2,202 per week with guaranteed hours up to 40 per week, and on-call duties are required.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing CT procedures on varied anatomies: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions
- Conducting specialized procedures such as CT arthrography, myelography, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Performing image-guided interventions including biopsies, drainages, and aspirations
- Operating GE equipment (Toshiba experience preferred)
- Executing 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
- Managing IV starts and contrast administration
- Providing imaging support across outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and adult ICU settings
You will serve a diverse patient population spanning neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Strong trauma experience is essential, including Level I and Level II trauma protocols. Cultural sensitivity to the Alaska Native population is required.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience, BLS certification, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and ARRT Advanced Certification (this is a hard stop requirement). Cerner charting system experience is required; PACS experience is preferred. You may wear any scrub color or pattern.
