X-Ray Technician Job in Maryville, TN

Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a travel assignment in Maryville, TN. You will work five 8-hour night shifts per week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with a 91-day contract starting June 29, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,160.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate a 2-room radiology department providing imaging services across the facility
• Perform portable procedures, trauma cases, operating room coverage, and emergency department support
• Conduct various contrast studies and imaging procedures for patients of all age groups—adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during day, night, and weekend shifts
• Float to other units as needed based on census requirements
• Provide surgery coverage during evening hours
• Work weekend coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology specialty
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

Assignment Details

You must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information. Orientation occurs every Monday. To be eligible for the full contract rate, you must be located more than 100 miles from any Prisma Health facility.
