Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM
• Every weekend shift requirement
• Holiday rotation required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 10-week contract length
• Float requirements throughout facility within skillset, including all facilities within a 60-mile radius
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Primary cases include trauma surgical, neuro, and orthopedic patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
• Must have neuro/ortho trauma experience
• Hard stop requirements include: chest tubes, PCA/epidural/Q-ball, CBI, care of post-op neuro trauma surgeries, and care of post-op ortho trauma surgeries (fusions, backs/spines)
• Scrub color: Black
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• Minimum 1 travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS, and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Previous travel experience required - candidates whose home location or current facility is within 50 miles of the Neenah, WI campus are not eligible
