CVOR RN Scrub and Circulate Job in Falls Church, VA

You will work as an RN in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Fairfax Medical Campus. This is an 89-week travel assignment starting June 8, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,644.16.

Schedule and Hours

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• 13-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation based on departmental need
• On-call requirements: 6–10 shifts per 6 weeks, including approximately 1 weekend per month
• Holiday coverage required: 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
• Any requested time off must be added to the end of your contract to maintain 13 working weeks

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in the OR with primary focus on scrubbing
• Work with complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Float within scope of practice as needed
• Participate in ongoing research protocols
• Demonstrate multitasking and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively and function as a strong team member

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recent scrub and circulating nurse experience
• Demonstrated expertise with coronary artery bypass (primary and redos), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR cases (primary and redos), TAVRs, ECMO, and VADs
• Adult case experience required; pediatrics experience preferred
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Epic access capability required
