ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center is seeking an RN for their Emergency Department in Hartford, CT. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with 36 hours guaranteed weekly. This 91-day travel assignment begins May 4, 2026.

Your primary responsibility will be managing inpatient hold patients within appropriate RN ratios and acuity levels. You'll have the flexibility to transition between the inpatient hold area and the emergency department as needed, giving you exposure to both settings during your shifts. You should be comfortable handling varying patient acuity levels typical of an emergency department environment.

Position Highlights:

• Every other weekend rotation required
• Experience with both inpatient holds and emergency department patients preferred
• Flexibility to work across both units as census and acuity dictate
• 91-day assignment
• Weekly pay: $2,342.34
