Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts with start times between 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
• No weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Float required to other CPMC campuses (MBC/Davies and VNC ACU) if census permits
• Provide individualized nursing care using nursing process for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge
• Work with daily census of 40-50 patients in 32-room unit
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• California RN license required
• 2 years PACU RN experience required, preferably in high acute care hospital with ICU experience
• Extensive cardiac/cath lab holding room experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete e-learning modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
