Job Details:

• Varied work schedule assignment
• Overtime is at the discretion of admin on call when department is two members short or in surge crisis
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing plan of care
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in shared leadership, education, and mentoring of facility personnel, patients, and students
• May supervise staff and workflow of the department in some capacities
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Wyoming DFS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
