Physical Therapist Job in Pampa, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a long-term care position at Avir Health Group, LLC - AVIR at Pampa. This is a temporary assignment running 91 days, beginning June 15, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care and therapeutic services in a long-term care setting. Your role includes conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process. You will communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including medical history and systems review
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on reducing pain and restoring function
• Conduct ongoing reassessments and adjust treatment as needed
• Supervise and delegate to ancillary staff and students in accordance with Texas state law
• Complete accurate documentation within department timeframes
• Provide patient and family education based on assessed needs
• Maintain safe environment standards for patients, visitors, and staff
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and literature review

Requirements

• Current Texas physical therapy license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care physical therapy setting
• Knowledge of state practice act requirements

Shift Details

You will work five 8-hour days (days shift), with no weekend coverage or on-call responsibilities required. Weekly compensation is $2,592.
