Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Anaconda, MT

Community Hospital of Anaconda is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its rehabilitation team. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work across multiple care settings.

Position Overview

You will provide physical therapy services to a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Your work will span acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient rehabilitation settings, giving you broad clinical experience and the chance to develop expertise across varied caseloads.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5 eight-hour shifts per week
• 91-day assignment
• Start date: October 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,127

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Implement treatment plans for patients in acute care and long-term care settings
• Work with patients across multiple care environments including hospital floors, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and patient homes
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Document patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adapt your approach to meet the needs of diverse patient populations

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant credential
• Two years of experience in acute and long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and patient care skills
