Infusion Oncology RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as an RN in an outpatient infusion oncology clinic at OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a 10-hour shift position with a duration of 89 days, starting November 9, 2026. You will earn $2,960 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Administer chemotherapy drugs, injectable medications, and oral medications as ordered by the physician
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Obtain and monitor patient physiological data, intervening as necessary
• Consult with other medical personnel to provide expert information about chemotherapy and manage side effects
• Assist the physician during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Provide chemotherapy-related educational information to patients and families
• Interact with patients and families to discuss care plans during clinic visits, at discharge, and via phone triage
• Schedule patient follow-up activities related to treatment and assist with care coordination
• Obtain referrals and complete follow-up phone calls with patients after clinic visits
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel

Required qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Outpatient infusion experience required
• Current chemotherapy certification
• Minimum 1 year of chemotherapy experience
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
